The Real Problem

Building a website shouldn't take six months.

Most web projects stall out somewhere between the kickoff call and the third round of revisions. You start excited. You end exhausted. The site finally launches a quarter later than promised, and you’ve already given up on caring.

Timelines that won't end

"Eight weeks" turns into four months. By the time it launches, your business has changed and the site is already out of date.

Revisions that never stop

Round 4 of design. Round 6 of copy. Round 9 of "can we just see one more option?" You don't know what you want anymore because you've seen everything.

Hourly bills that creep up

The original quote was $4,500. Six weeks later you're at $7,200. Every email costs money. Every change costs money. The launch keeps moving.

What it's costing you

The longer your site stays in "almost done," the longer your business stays invisible.

Every month you're stuck in revisions is a month you're not getting found, not getting leads, not generating revenue from your most important sales tool. You don't need a perfect website. You need a working one. Soon.

Why One Day Works

A whole day of focused work beats six months of context switching.

I’m Dyllon. I’ve been building WordPress sites for over a decade. After watching too many four-month projects drag on for nine months, I built this offer for a specific type of client: businesses that need a real website, fast, and don’t want to spend a quarter of the year managing it.
The reason this works isn’t speed. It’s focus. On your Design Day, I do nothing else. No other clients. No meetings. No distractions. Eight hours of uninterrupted design with a content brief that’s already locked in. You’d be surprised how much can get done when nobody’s switching contexts.
This isn’t the right fit for every project. If you need an e-commerce store with 200 products, complex integrations, or a custom-coded app, you want a regular custom Build. But if you’re a service business that needs a clean, professional, conversion-focused site up and running this month? Design Day is for you.

The Plan

Five steps. Mostly the prep, then go.

The Design Day works because the hard part is done before the day starts. Here’s how a project goes from “I’m interested” to “here’s my new website.”
1

Book your Design Day

Fill out the project inquiry. We have a 30-minute fit call to make sure this is the right offer for what you need. If it is, you pick a date, sign the agreement, and pay 50% to secure the day.

2

Complete the prep on your time

You get a guided content brief: pages you want, copy, images, brand assets, the basics. No prep call required, no pressure on schedule. You work through it whenever it fits your week. The brief locks in scope before the build starts.

3

Design Day

On your scheduled day, I clear the calendar and design your full site, start to finish. Eight uninterrupted hours. You can check in if you want, or just let me work. By end of day, you have a real, functioning, live-on-a-staging-URL website.

4

Same-day revision window

The site is ready by late afternoon. You get a dedicated window to review and submit revisions while I'm still focused on your project. Most clients only need small tweaks; the prep work prevents the "let's redo the homepage" round.

5

Launch with confidence

Site goes live on your domain. I record a walkthrough video showing you how to update content yourself. You get two weeks of support after launch for any functional issues, plus the option to roll into a Website Shield plan if you want hands-off maintenance forever.

What’s Included

Everything you need to launch and run the site.

Flat-fee, fixed-scope. No hourly creep. No “actually that’s extra” surprises mid-build. You know exactly what you get before the day starts.
Want add-ons? Blog setup, SEO foundations, or extended support. Optional, priced clearly, picked at booking.
  • Up to 6 custom pages. Homepage, about, services, contact, and two more. Built and styled to match your brand.
  • Custom Divi design. Not a template you've seen everywhere else. Custom layouts built for your actual content.
  • Mobile-responsive. Looks right on phones, tablets, and desktops. Tested across breakpoints before delivery.
  • Guided prep workflow. Self-paced content brief. No required prep call. Locked-in scope before any design starts.
  • One dedicated Design Day. Full focus, no other clients, no distractions. Just your project for the whole day.
  • Same-day revision window. Review and refine while I'm still working. Catch tweaks the same day, not three weeks later.
  • Two weeks of functionality support. If anything breaks or doesn't work as expected post-launch, I fix it free.
  • Personalized training walkthrough. A recorded video showing you exactly how to update text, swap images, and manage your site.
  • Domain & launch coordination. I handle the DNS pointing, SSL, and live launch so you don't have to figure it out.
One Price. One Day.

Simple, honest pricing.

Blog setup · +$500

A blog page plus a styled post template, so you can start publishing right after launch without figuring out any of the template stuff yourself.

The Stakes

Two paths to a new website.

Both paths get you a website. One of them gets you there next week.

✓ With Design Day

  • Site goes live within 2-3 weeks of booking
  • You pay exactly $4,000. No hourly creep, no surprise invoices
  • Scope is locked in the brief, so design happens once
  • One focused day of work, then you launch and move on with your life
  • You learn how to update it yourself with the training video
  • Two weeks of post-launch support for any functional issues

✗ With a typical agency

  • Site launches 4-6 months after kickoff, if you're lucky
  • Original $4,500 quote turns into $7,200 by month three
  • Endless rounds of revisions because scope was never locked
  • You spend 20 hours a month managing the project for half a year
  • Every content change after launch is an hourly invoice
  • By the time it launches, you've lost momentum and given up on caring
Is This For You?

Design Day fits some projects, not all.

Good fit: service businesses (contractors, consultants, healthcare practices, lawyers, agencies), local shops, solo operators, anyone who needs 4-6 clean pages with clear messaging and a working contact form. If you’re replacing a tired old site or finally getting off Wix, you’re in the sweet spot.
Not a fit: e-commerce with more than a handful of products, complex membership sites, custom-coded apps, multi-language sites, sites that need extensive third-party integrations. Those are real projects that need real planning. Go with a regular custom Build instead.
Not sure? The 30-minute fit call sorts it out. If Design Day isn’t right for you, I’ll say so and point you at the offer that is.

The ideal Design Day project

You're a service business with a working business but a website that doesn't reflect it. You know what you do and who you serve. You don't need a custom-coded experience, you need a clean, professional, conversion-focused site that does the basics right. You want it live next month, not next quarter.

Common Questions

Stuff people ask before they book.

How many pages do I get?
Up to 6 custom pages, prioritized based on what matters most to your business. Most service businesses use the slots for Home, About, Services, Contact, and one or two additional focused pages.
What if I need more pages later?
Additional pages can be added later through hourly work or future Design Days. The site is built on WordPress with Divi, so you can also add basic pages yourself using the training walkthrough video included with launch.
Do I need all my content ready before the Design Day?
Yes. All content (copy, images, brand assets) must be approved before the Design Day starts. The prep brief walks you through what's needed. The whole reason this works is that the prep is locked before the design starts; if scope is moving on the day of, the day-of model breaks.
Is this a subscription or recurring fee?
No. Design Day is a one-time, flat-fee service. The $4,000 is paid 50% upfront to secure the date and 50% on launch. After launch, you have the option to add a Website Shield maintenance plan for $99/mo, but it's optional.
What does the Design Day actually look like?
On your scheduled day, I block the whole workday (typically 9 AM to 6 PM Central) to focus exclusively on your project. By late afternoon, the site is on a staging URL for review. You have a window that evening to submit revisions, which I implement before final delivery. Launch happens within 1-2 business days after revisions are approved.
What happens if we don't finish in one day?
This rarely happens because the prep work locks the scope before the day. If something unexpected comes up, I finish the work at no extra charge. The flat fee means the timeline risk is on me, not you.
Can you migrate my existing site?
Yes, if it's a content migration from another platform like Wix, Squarespace, or an older WordPress site. The prep brief includes a section for capturing existing content. Custom data migrations (membership systems, large product catalogs) are out of scope and would need a regular custom Build engagement.
