Install and Activate

Divi Accessibility Assistant installs like any other WordPress plugin. It runs on Divi 4 or Divi 5, with either the Divi theme or the Divi Builder plugin.

What you need

  • WordPress 6.0 or newer
  • PHP 7.4 or newer
  • Divi active, either the Divi theme or the Divi Builder plugin

Install the plugin

  1. In your dashboard, go to Plugins, then Add New, then Upload Plugin.
  2. Click Choose File and select your divi-accessibility-assistant.zip.
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

What happens on activation

Nothing on your site changes except the plugin turning on. Your pages, posts, menus, and design are left alone. The plugin registers itself, prepares its reports storage, and stays quiet until you run a scan.

If Divi is not active

The plugin stays dormant and shows a friendly notice until Divi is active. The reports and scheduled scans still work; the in-builder panel appears once you open a supported Divi builder screen.

Where to go next

Open PC Designs, then Accessibility Assistant and run your first scan from the Overview. Head to Run Your First Scan next.

Tip

The plugin lives under the PC Designs menu, not under its own name. If you ever lose track of it, look there.
